@kundlatsch@iGEM @AfteriGEM Thank you for your all support and dedication to democratizing this amazing field, Guilherme! May we cultivate more and more seeds, preparing our hats...
The first 4 days of the @iGEM Giant Jamboree are over, and now that we have a little break, let me share a (not so short) @AfteriGEM story. It is about driving 2000 km, a wonder of the world and seeds.
We often comment at our endless meetings that we wouldn't be here without @kundlatsch, or not in the way that we are... in love with what we're building.
We believe that we've successfully made it this far, and it's a pleasure to share such a beautiful part of our history with u!
Something that we always pointed out about our team was all the adversities we had to deal with. Starting with our Latin American history, going through the pandemic and lack of structure, culminating in the dismantling of science in our country. 🧶 +
And today I could see the fruit of that seed with @synfronteras presenting at the Giant Jamboree. It was very special for me because of everything this team represents, connecting several countries, and everything they had to overcome to be able to give this talk today.
This foundation strengthened us and took us further, and we heartily thank each of these actors.
But one person, in particular, we would like to thank by name because more than being part of that foundation, he threw the first seed. +
