aespa WINTER’s response to a question during an interview with Expectador Chile:

EC: Regarding your album ‘LEMONADE’, there is a noticeable contrast between your signature futuristic sound and a much more colorful aesthetic. What was the creative process like for you on this album? What new elements did you enjoy exploring in ‘LEMONADE’?

WINTER: With this album, we wanted to maintain aespa’s bold, futuristic side while showcasing something a bit more cheerful and playful. Since it’s a full album, each song has a different mood and genre, so it was fun finding different ways to approach the vocals and performances. I also think we’ve gained more confidence in embracing new styles and making them our own.
