CBC just cut @PierrePoilievre off!
Pierre urged @MarkJCarney not to take a bad deal.
Minutes into the remarks, before Q&A, @CBCNews cut off the Leader of the Opposition to hear from a CBC analyst!
Lesson: oppose the Government's plan - be cut off from the National Broadcaster!
"We must heap infinite money onto seniors because they asked for it."
We are rapidly running put of reasons to even bother voting for the CPC at this point. The only reasons at this stage to vote CPC is on guns. The rest of their platform is either stupider or the same as the LPC
@monarchist_tory The red ensign is an objectively bad flag design. Not distinct, too busy, hard to draw, details hard to discern at a distance, etc. the maple leaf is vastly superior on all counts.
@OmarYKhan@AdrienneBatra Muslim values made the Muslim world. Christian values made Canada and the Western world. On any metric that matters, the Western world outshines the Muslim world. That's why so many Muslims try to immigrate here. No, they are not compatible.
@DaytonF@WesternStandard I think you're right but it doesn't really matter. The carbon tax is a drop in the ocean compared to sales and income tax. Both need to be radically cut (sales tax should be outright abolished imo), and the best Poilievre was willing to offer was a meager 15%.
I reiterate again.
The Conservative Party and frankly all Conservative parties everywhere need to refit themselves for attritional political combat.
You need to run on BIG BOLD ideas that get attention and then hit the doors hard in every riding, especially during byelections.
No such things as safe Liberal or safe Conservative riding.
Every single riding needs to be treated like a battleground because they are.
Even if a riding cannot be "won" you can help change the national culture by nudging Liberal strongholds over to the Right.
It's a cascading effect.
This stance is a step in the right direction, but it's still not good enough.
MRG recognizes the that viewing immigration as purely an economic policy is insufficient - good.
But she still fails to accept the harsh realities of integration. After decades of irresponsible immigration/multiculturalism policies integration cannot be pushed top down. We need to reset the situation. Millions need to be remigrated.
The only way to ensure integration is by maintaining Heritage Canadians as a super majority in Canada - this is the first principle of immigration policy. If this is ensured, integration is a cultural inevitability.
Anything less is wishful thinking.
