@kemal_e_forde Explosive start, absent. In fact, no sign of power throughout the race. I hope she's okay and if so, it was just a bad week or a loaded one.
Reminiscing on 4x4 for men and women, a few things are clear:
1. The old powerhouses have company
2. The collective standard for the events have risen
3. The next championship cycle may require sub 3:20 and sub 2:56 to medal. Paris 2024 is the only time it's happened for both.
@kemal_e_forde She has dual citizenship. Prior to Jamaican OG trials in 2024, she was listed as American. That wasn't favorable, and I guess she decided to revert.
@dpos_smith Without a doubt, he has always been talented but erratic at best. The belief he has shown in himself this season has been absolutely beautiful.
Rusheen "Big Boy" McDonald congrats on a valiant effort. A nuff cuss wi cuss yu but you exemplify drive and bravery in the face of doubt and sometimes outright rudeness. We salute you!

A woman who deserves more than a bouquet of flowers but a garden in her honor! π
We thank you for your everlasting dominance, upstanding personality & overall influence
Farewell from the track, Mommy Rocket! Weβre excited for your next steps π«Ά
@kemal_e_forde Unfortunately we never got to see her touch her ceiling. Those bothersome knee injuries derailed what could have been. Sherone had the makings to be a 21.7 or faster 200m runner. In spite of everything, 6x individual global finalist over the span of a decade. Well done
