50 years ago today, my family and I went to see Elvis Presley at the Onondaga County War Memorial. At 4 years old, it was my first concert. Here are some ticket stubs that my mother saved. Was anyone else at that concert?
Destruction has begun of Great Northern Mall in Clay. I did a walk through of the (mostly) dead mall back in 2022. See the mall and listen to memories of working and shopping at the mall from my friend Dave and me.

On this week in 2016, Syracuse Nostalgia was the cover story on the @SyrNewTimes . It's hard to believe it's been 10 years. It's also still hard to believe that the New Times is no longer around. I still find myself looking for it when I leave local stores.
The Syracuse Nostalgia Podcast aired from 2017 to 2019. I interviewed many local Syracuse celebrities and people that were important to the Syracuse area. All of the episodes are still available on the Syracuse Nostalgia site.

Great Northern Mall is scheduled to be demolished soon. Here is a video of a walk through I did with a friend of mine a few years ago.

Don't care to watch any of the New Year's Eve programs on TV this year? Watch Happy New Year America from 1984 with host Andy Wiliams, which was originally recorded from WTVH Channel 5 in Syracuse.

This is from my YouTube channel! I taped it off of MTV in 1983 and saved the tape all these years. Thank you for reposted it, Martha! It's so cool that someone who was there is now able to see the video I taped all those years ago.
Happy Kiss Unmasked Day! OTD in 1983, Kiss ditched their legendary make-up with JJ Jackson on MTV. Our control room was packed this was a huge deal. Interesting how lo-fi MTV was, yet how hi-fi JJ Jackson was ๐

Here is the official* @NYSFair theme song! The lyrics were originally written about fairs of the past, but many of them are still relevant now.

@ElvisPresley performed at @TheOncenter (Onondaga County War Memorial) on this day in 1976. At four years old, I was in attendance. Here is my ticket stub from the show.
I'm so sad to learn of the passing of Mike Price. He was a wonderful man and a Syracuse legend. He was nice enough to let me interview him for the Syracuse Nostalgia Podcast, and also performed the intro for the podcast as Baron Daemon.
