The government was actively sitting on an unpublished ARAI report that explicitly warned E20 petrol deteriorates rubber fuel lines, gaskets, and O-rings in older E10 cars.

They even documented a thermomechanical exhaust valve failure in a BS6 engine during durability testing. 

Instead of transparency, they suppressed the data to fast-track their aggressive mandates.

Now, millions of middle-class car owners are stuck with rotting fuel systems and a 10-20% plunge in real-world fuel economy.

This is textbook policy incompetence and a total betrayal of public trust to serve a highly compromised ethanol lobby.
