@CounterStrike 3 years with no solid anti cheat. Sub tick is still trash. Pushing skins instead of doing literally anything the playerbase is actually asking for. You guys are unbelievably incompetent.
Rumour: Valve is set to introduce an opt-in/out 'Protected Mode' for Premier matches using a new intrusive kernel-level anti-cheat.
Players will be able to queue exclusively into matches where all players have the anti-cheat enabled
Non-'Protected' players will still receive a rank, but will not be visible on the global leaderboard
@ThourCS2 CS is in an odd spot right now. I am not into the CS market, but I do play regularly and cheating is getting progressively worse as time goes on. I have no idea what Valve is going to do about this because this is a culture that they allowed to cultivate.
@ThourCS2 we should try to hold some "NO CS" day, and get everyone off the game to send a message to valve.. alltho there will always be 500k on as the bots wont care...
- Ruined CS for casual enjoyers with a lack of content.
- Ruined CS for competitive players with a lack of Anti-cheat.
- Ruined CS for orgs with the last Major sticker update.
Killing CS step by step. 🤧
The second season of 2026 is about to get underway, and we’re kicking it all off with BLAST Bounty Season 2. What’s not to love? .... maybe the cheaters from @CounterStrike and the lack of Anticheat !
@vaccoin@CounterStrike@valvesoftware Even PUBG Mobile heavily penalizes players who repeatedly queue and play with cheaters, but Counter-Strike 2 doesn't.
@vaccoin@CounterStrike@valvesoftware At this point, queuing Premier is the real Overwatch case: you spend 40 minutes collecting evidence and still lose 13-7.
