@RetroTechDreams it's crazy because in the ensuing years,
basically all of 3D modeling software turned its back on this paradigm,
it was even hard to find and use good landscape rendering software,
let alone with an interface that seemed like someone worked hard on it

@11975MHz after HS I was IT for a Mac-based office full of designers...it was even worse than the HS Mac lab
They thought they were isolated from trouble because of PC incompatibility
Their constant trouble though was OEM software...joke was on them, I could sense PC devs building that
@exQUIZitely loved this. when linux started landing on my desktops in early 2000s i looked down my nose at scorched 3d, pah, 3D, much too fanchy for old 007 here...
but tbh it's pretty great too once you learn the controls
