It's been amazing to attend and present my work at the inaugural Plastics Recycling and Upcycling GRC this last week. Now I just need to make sure I don't lose my poster in New York using this very efficient system for carrying everything except my poster.
The compulsory lobster dinner picture from the Plastics Recycling and Upcycling GRC last night. The bibs are LDPE and we saved them so Morag can degrade back in her lab at home. Everything will have to go into mainstream waste collection unfortunately.
I've spent the day talking to some pre-application chemistry students at @sheffielduni open day. Telling them about some of the research going on in sustainability and opportunities they'll have at Sheffield as undergraduates.
Hopefully Ted and his aloe vera impressed them.
