Participating in a high-level panel hosted by the Sasakawa Peace Foundation on the margins of TICAD, our Executive Director spoke about how GCERF’s investments in coastal communities in Africa are promoting security and sustainability, simultaneously creating local economic alternatives to radicalisation and growing the ‘blue economy’. As Cohort 2 concludes this Sept, youth in our Beauty Therapy & Aesthetic Services course have gained hands-on training in hair care, skin treatment, and professional salon practices. They now carry skills that open pathways to self-employment and stable livelihoods.
