The Reds completed a disastrous 0-7 road trip with a four game sweep at the hands of the Cubs.

From performance, quality of play, injury, and results, it might be the single worst performance on a road trip in my lifetime.

After starting the trip in 1st place, the Reds (20-18) come home six games out, in last place. They have dropped 8 of 9..

As if that's not bad enough, Rhett Lowder left in the 4th inning with shoulder discomfort.

The Cubs erupted for seven runs in the 4th, two off Lowder, and five vs Connor Phillips. Words can't do justice to how bad the inning was.

The Reds are 1-9 vs the Central.
