@I_Like_Doggos76 do you realize that what you're saying directly contradicts the notion Prusa is making in the very post you're replying to?
did you bother reading the blog post I linked before replying?
I don't want to make too big a deal about this, (would rather just pretend nothing ever happened), but I have to say RASCAL is back to his old self and we are all feelin' good about it.
I think spending a little time with his cousin, Jimothy, and getting some mountain time in was just the ticket. These two have a goofy sense of humor sometimes so when Rascal radioed in to say this week's contribution to the 2A community would be a NUBSUB in honor of is little squished cousin, I was not surprised, lol.
So, as you all know, to participate in the festivities, give us and our wonderful weekly sponsor @SummRidge a follow and do all the other things too! Be sure to ask the regulars if you need some pointers! They are happy to help.
Love y'all,
have a great week,
good luck
and Godspeed!
@MESlammer@josefprusa $720 upgrade vs $999 new c1 kit is not an upgrade by any stretch of imagination, it's merely a loyalty discount. and the enclosure goes to trash too.
@obregoru@josefprusa continued support is one of the biggest things that differentiated Prusa from the competition.
and no, mk4s > c1 upgrade is not support. it's a mere 18% discount on a new printer ($720 upgrade vs $999 c1).
@obregoru@josefprusa also none of the freshly announced + updates are coreXY specific. mk4/s runs the exact same nextruder as the updated lineup. I can guarantee you that excluding mk4/s from this update is a decision that wasn't based on technical limitations of the platform.
