⚡️ Former US Marine Robert Gilman is in critical condition and nearing death in a Russian prison.
Reports reveal he has been subjected to severe torture and injected with mind-altering drugs, falling into a "dissociative stupor." Russia is denying access to his family, lawyer, and US consular officials.

@jalle51 В Українській владі зараз багато агентів Московії, вони спробують якось саботувати, сворити безлад. В результаті Швеція більше не буде так робити.
The men dying in Ukraine are not drawn evenly from Russia. That fact explains more about the state than any speech.
Casualty analyses built from open sources — obituaries, cemeteries, probate records — have consistently shown the poorest and most remote republics losing men at rates far above Moscow and St Petersburg. Buryatia, Tuva, Dagestan: regions with a fraction of the population and a large share of the graves. The pattern is not incidental. It follows income, alternative employment, and distance from any camera that matters.
Which reveals what the federation actually is. Not a country with poor regions, but a metropolis with internal colonies — territories that supply raw materials, cheap labour and now soldiers, and receive in return a garrison, a subsidy and a governor appointed from the centre.
Russians are told the empire is a shield protecting its many peoples. The distribution of the coffins describes the arrangement more accurately.
The empire's oldest colony was never Georgia, Ukraine or Central Asia.
It was the Russian province — and it is still paying tribute, now in sons.
Watch how each side handles a prisoner exchange, because almost everything is contained in it.
Ukraine publishes lists. Families gather at the roadside. The returning men are photographed wrapped in flags, given names, given medical care, given a public welcome that the government cannot control and would not want to. Every exchange is a political event that raises the pressure for the next one.
On the other side, returning Russian soldiers are frequently met by military police rather than families, filtered for how they were captured, and in documented cases sent back toward the front. Some are declared missing while alive. Their relatives learn more from Ukrainian databases and volunteer channels than from their own ministry.
Two states retrieving their own citizens from the same war, and only one of them behaves as though the citizens are the point.
This is not a difference in resources. It is a difference in what a person is understood to be — an end, or an input.
An army is a mirror of the state that raised it.
One state counts its men home. The other counts the paperwork they generate.
20.02.2014 Kyiv: The Berkut units from Kyiv & Sevastopol kill 48 people on the Maidan. The leaders from Kyiv & 21 members will flee to Russia later. The unit from Crimea actively supports Russia’s annexation of Crimea. Girkin sets off for Crimea, armed. Russia started the war.
Today, many were shocked by yet another video of the drone “safari” Russians are carrying out against civilians in Kherson. A Russian drone deliberately hunted down a man selling vegetables and detonated right next to him. The Russians even admitted to the crime, showing zero regret and openly boasting about tormenting people. The man was wounded in the blast. Every single day, ordinary people in Kherson face these Russian "safaris."
The world must see this. It must see every piece of evidence that Russia has gone mad and that its soldiers take pleasure in killing and abusing civilians. Without pressure on Russia, the dismantling of its capacity for aggression, and real security guarantees, it is simply impossible to imagine the world being able to coexist with this evil. We must remain resolute in defending life. We must act and support life in ways that force Russia to seriously think about peace rather than expanding the range of its drones.
This is not just about Ukraine. Russia’s campaign against human life must be stopped here in Ukraine before it spreads further. Finland and Kazakhstan, the Baltic states and Poland, the countries of the South Caucasus, Romania, and Moldova—all should work together to ensure real security guarantees and bring Russia’s war to an end. Peace is needed, which requires cooperation among everyone in the world who truly values peace. Thank you to everyone standing with Ukraine!
27.02.2014: Russian politician Konstantin Zatulin speaks with Putin’s advisor Sergey Glazyev; he needs more money for the protesters in Odesa and Kharkiv. He asks when they should start attacking Ukrainian institutions, and Glazyev replies, “They should start immediately.”
🇺🇦 Stepan Chubenko. A pro-Ukraine Donbas native. 16-year-old. A goalie & poet. Fearless. Son to a Ukrainian dad & Russian mom.
On this day 12 years ago, he took a train in the occupied Donbas. They arrested him. Tortured for days. Executed him mafia-style.
Months later, his body was found. All the teeth were missing. Hands bound behind his back.
Never forget. Never forgive.
@DarinUaGirl О! Знову П насрав комусь у штани. Та досить вже, чому не діти смарагдових приходять першими на думку? Метод "смердючмй оселедець" таки працює.
