Just so I understand the order of operations here:

1. Saints sign Travis Etienne to a 4-year, $48M contract with $28M guaranteed

2. They did that deal on the very first day of free agency

3. In Week 1, Etienne splits carries evenly with Kendre Miller

4. In Week 2, Kendre Miller is a healthy scratch

5. In Week 2, 31-year-old Alvin Kamara gets 15 opportunities vs. Etienne's 11

* Kamara was one of the worst RBs in the NFL last season by most metrics. And averaged 1.7 yards per carry, 1.4 yards per reception Sunday.
