🦌: During the latter half [of today's event] , I was singing 'Going Home' and staring endlessly up at the spotlight shining down on me, which brought up a lot of thoughts.

🦌: I remembered how incredibly hard I worked to make this album, and I thought about how much our EVERS loved the album I made. We've done so many shows since then, and it reminded me of all the support EVERs have given me.

🦌: I also thought about my family and everyone around who helped me, which made me realize just how blessed I am. I felt so overwhelmed with gratitude that I could perform on such a great stage in such a wonderful environment thanks to all of you, that I almost started crying.

🦌: Actually, I think I might have shed a few tears haha, I don't quite remember. But it truly was a concert that I will cherish in my memory for a very, very long time.

this is gonna be a bit long but i really need to say this...
reading heeseung's interview feels like getting to know evan a little more with every answer. after everything he went through, he could have let that difficult period define him, but instead he chose to grow, and turn those emotions into music. even when fans were worried about him, he was thinking about how to make us feel at ease, and that became part of the reason he wrote “ride or die.” there’s something so beautiful about the way he approaches his art now, not only writing lyrics, tracks, and doing production, but taking part in the visuals, leading himself on stage, and putting every bit of himself into the work. he said that making music helps him find himself, and i think that’s exactly what makes his music feel so personal and real. he isn’t simply creating songs, he’s documenting his journey now, he's trying to understand himself and allowing Ever's to understand him along the way. and knowing that he sees being forgotten as his own kind of death makes me want to hold onto his music even more. Evan, thank you for turning every difficult moment, every question, every part of yourself you discovered along the way into something we can feel too. i hope you know how deeply your honesty, your effort, and the heart you pour into everything you do are appreciated. as long as we’re here to listen, your music will never be forgotten and you'll be my idol forever ♡
