yunjin talks about how le sserafim’s relationship is characterized by their vulnerability either each other ❤️‍🩹

“i think it’s because it’s all five of us. sometimes, i think when you're working in a team, it's kind of hard to admit that you're going through something just because you don't want to influence the other members or be the debbie downer and bring the mood down when everybody is trying so hard. but i think that through our experiences, when we are able to tell each other, "i'm actually having a hard time," "i'm actually kind of scared of this," "i've got a lot of doubts and a lot of anxiety about some things," the members are really open to those conversations.

they're like, "why do you feel that way?" "oh, i also feel that way." "oh, i didn't know that you felt that way. i thought i was the only one going through this."

we've definitely had a lot of conversations, especially in hotels during tour, and that has really brought us together. because we know that we're doing it scared sometimes, we know that whatever happens, we're going to get through it because we have each other and because we are honest with each other.”

yunjin explains to bbc how the girls worked on the aspect of ‘le sserafim’ through their relationship with each other 🤍

“the first step for us was to recognize that we are all very different people, and like chaewon said in the beginning, we come from very different backgrounds. we actually, it's kind of unconventional for a k-pop group to start spending time together as a team itself after debut, because most of the time, or for a lot of the time, groups have spent years already training together as a team. for us, that just wasn't the case, so we started to get to know each other after debuting.

that came with a lot of times where we recognized that, oh, we are actually really different people, and it took effort, because in any relationship it takes effort to recognize that and embrace those differences. we had a period where we genuinely asked each other, "how do you want to be shown up for?" like, "i prefer not to be asked questions when i'm going through something," "i prefer to be asked questions," and we would have those interviews with each other.

now, because we are so busy, giving each other our time is one of the biggest love languages that we have for each other. especially during tour, when we have a lot of that time to spend with each other, it's one of our ways of staying super close, just laughing and spending quality time together.”
