Tesla has officially announced the Cybercab Launch Event.

“We’re celebrating the launch of our Cybercab robotaxi with an exclusive event in Austin—and you could be there.

Take a Robotaxi ride August 17–23, 2026, to automatically be entered. Every ride earns you another entry. The more you ride, the more chances you have to win.

Five winners will be randomly selected and notified on August 25, 2026.”

They haven’t shared the date of the event yet, but likely will within the next week or so.

Tesla sold 4,778 vehicles in Australia last month, the company's best July ever in the country and up 404% YoY.

More than half of these were Model Y L units, the first time the company has separated the six-seater version from other Model Y sales.

BREAKING: Emirates is reportedly removing Viasat equipment from its new Airbus A350s as it moves to standardize its fleet on Starlink.

• Incoming A350s are expected to transition from Viasat GX Aviation to Starlink
• Starlink is already active on dozens of Emirates Boeing 777s and a growing number of A380s
• Emirates plans to equip approximately 232 aircraft by mid-2027

BREAKING: Telstra CEO Vicki Brady says Starlink could help Australians stranded in remote mobile dead zones contact emergency services.

Telstra is Australia’s largest mobile-network operator and already partners with SpaceX to offer Starlink Direct-to-Cell satellite text messaging in Australia.

Brady said eligible customers outside mobile coverage can use Telstra’s Starlink satellite messaging to text a friend or family member.

Starlink is saving lives. ❤️
