This is literally one of the GREATEST ideas I’ve heard in a long time
Somali man has a message, “Calling on all Somalis, I feel like we should go back to Somalia, pack up our bags, and make Somalia great again. Let's all leave as a collective. I feel like we are stronger together, bro. Let's leave these Western countries and make Somalia the greatest country of all time, bro. You know, we got engineers, we got doctors, we got content creators, we got a lot of people, great people that can make Somalia the best country of all time”
All Somalis leaving western countries would be amazing. I actually added footage of the comments section on his post, every single person is for this and practically begging them to leave western nations. Nobody wants them
Go Make Somalia Great, leave Western Countries
⭐️This Oakland County, MI. sheriff sergeant doesn't take no for an answer.... because he's the POLICE and he can get away with it.
His two buddies just standby and watch as he stomps on the Fourth Amendment.
A man was recording on public property near the sheriff's employee parking lot when he was confronted by Sgt. T. Vida who requested ID.
When the man declined Sgt. Vida told him he was detained and without permission went through his pockets and wallet to find an identification.
He wrote down the information, gave the wallet back and told the man he was free to go.
He said he took the ID absent suspicion of a crime and without permission, because "I like to know who I'm talking to."
The Sheriff's Office is the largest full service Sheriff's Office in the State of Michigan covering a population of 1.3 million residents.
❓The other two deputies who watched an illegal search and said nothing, are they protecting the Constitution or the clique?
❓If this is how he treats a guy with a camera on public property, how does he treat people without one?
❓Is this professionalism, or just uncontrolled power with a badge?
👮♂️Officer: "If you fail to identify I am going to pull you out of this car and detain you for obstruction." -- said to a man parked at a gas station.
On April 23, 2022, just before dawn, Grand Junction, Colorado police contacted Marine veteran Aaron Booker parked at a gas station after a shooting near the Travelodge on Horizon Drive.
He refused to ID, was ordered out and detained, then released about 30 minutes later.
A 911 caller reported gunshots at 704 Horizon Drive. A second call said a man had walked in with a gunshot wound to the head.
Officers were looking for a dark four-door sedan leaving the Travelodge area.
Booker, a 12-year USMC veteran in town for a marksmanship match, was staying nearby. He stopped at a gas station to wait for friends. His car matched the general description.
Officer Tyler Posadas, badge 2016, approached with Corporal Church and said he needed Booker to identify himself because he was leaving the area of the shooting.
Booker refused. He said failure to identify is a secondary offense in Colorado and that officers needed reasonable suspicion he had committed a crime, not that a similar car was nearby. He said they already had his plate.
Posadas said if he did not ID he would be pulled from the car and detained for obstruction. Booker was ordered out and detained.
Sgt. Steele later joined and also demanded ID. When Booker asked for Steele’s name and badge number, Steele refused.
After about 30 minutes they released him.
Booker’s attorney filed a complaint and gave notice of a civil suit.
An internal review under then-Chief Doug Shoemaker found the other allegations unfounded.
The exception was Steele’s failure to identify himself, which Colorado law and GJPD policy require. Steele said he forgot and received verbal counseling.
The internal report treated Booker’s driving and the vehicle match as suspicious and called the stop less intrusive than it could have been.
❓If the plate already had his name, why was the rest of the stop necessary?
❓Is verbal counseling enough when a sergeant will not identify himself?
❓How would this have gone down if an officer had seen Booker's legal handgun in the vehicle through the window?
