One of my biggest wishes for the upcoming season is for Alphonso Davies and Jamal Musiala to finally be fully healthy again and enjoy playing football the way they did before their injuries, the kind of football that brought us so much joy.

Both have gone through an incredibly demanding and difficult year, not only because of their injuries, but also because football is such a fast-moving business and fans often have little patience and trust. Too many people are quick to write players off instead of supporting them as they fight their way back.

Both of them grew up at this club and should be part of the face of the new Bayern era. Seeing how quickly many fans turned their backs on them was one of the biggest disappointments of last season for me as a Bayern supporter.

Neither of them chose this situation, and there is nothing they would rather do than shine for Bayern again. They would love nothing more than to be back at their old level already, but life isn’t a wish-granting machine.

Football fans can be heartless at times, but I won’t give up on these two so easily. It’s during the difficult moments that players need the support of the fans the most.

Aber wie er konstant die zu einfältige Spielidee betont hat und dann Sätze wie „Wenn er es sich morgen nochmal anschaut, wird es ihm auch auffallen“ dropt, dann war da schon viel Kritik dabei.
