Using this mix in the photos, the farmer was able to finish 95% of his lambs, before weaning, for the first time ever. The mix is 20kg Tabu+ Italian Ryegrass, 10kg Zulu II Annual Clover, 4kg Morrow Red Clover and 4kg Weka White Clover.

ASW: with the onset of summer dry, these guys are having a field day damaging pastures. Watch out for entry/exit holes of the larvae as a sign of ASW presence. Grass to grass regeneration should include an insecticide at spray out + seed treatment! @turnipboy17 @Agricom_NZ

Useful calculation re stocking rates to minimise marginal milk production is grass grown divided by 5. It allows for normal utilisation and circa half a tonne of purchased supplement per cow. #teamdairy Might interest some.
