NEW: President Ruto now says he needs 7 yrs to transform Kenya and Kibera.
I'm confused.
We are in 2026. His first term is almost over. So where exactly are these 7 yrs coming from?
It's funny how politicians never run out of promises. Only deadlines.
If I want to see Champions League trophies, Iβll go to the Santiago Bernabeu
If I want to see Premier League trophies, Iβll go to Old Trafford
If I want to see every trophy, Iβll go to Stamford bridge
If I want to see Community shields, Iβll go to the Emirates
This brilliant student had to diee for Americans. As Marco Rubio said, βAmericans must be protected by all means.β
He was killed in protection of the US Ebola Facility.
Ethiopia is running on a budget 2.5x smaller than ours, yet their infrastructure looks like the future while our roads are just a collection of potholes connected by a little bit of tarmac.
JUST IN: President Ruto says he is Kenya's chief diplomat and that critics don't understand why he travels so much.
But Kenyans are not children.
Mwai Kibaki travelled far less and delivered results people could see. Magufuli travelled far less, and Tanzania changed before people's eyes.
Ruto has made well over 120 foreign trips, signed hundreds of agreements, and spent billions on travel.
What exactly have these trips delivered?
Not promises. Not MoUs. Not press conferences.
Real projects. Real industries. Real jobs.
If a president travels that much, we should be able to point to major factories, industrial parks, railways, power plants, and investments that came from those trips.
Instead, Kenyans are being told to stop asking questions and simply trust the process.
Why?
This is why we track the flights. This is why we demand accountability. Public money was used, so the public deserves answers.
JUST IN: The State Department for Sports spent KSh 4.34 billion on sports training and competitions in just 9 months.
But it gets worse.
Its original allocation was only KSh 750 million. The Controller of Budget reveals that spending exceeded the approved budget by billions.
And what exactly did Kenyans get in return?
Only 6 national teams participated in international competitions.
Only 600 athletes were enrolled in sports academies.
Meanwhile, Harambee Stars players have publicly complained about poor conditions. Kenyan athletes keep complaining about neglect. Some have even been forced to fundraise from ordinary Kenyans just to travel abroad and represent the country, then return home with medals.
So where did KSh 4.34 billion go?
Because it clearly did not go to the athletes.
Billions are being spent. Athletes are still begging for support. Facilities remain poor. Complaints never end.
The people sweating for the flag are fundraising. The people sitting in offices are cashing out.
And the Cabinet Secretary for Sports is Salim Mvurya.
Arrest the killer cops now. Every officer who used excessive or unlawful force against unarmed civilians must be identified, investigated, and held accountable. No badge should protect anyone from justice. The lives lost matter, and their families deserve answers.
