The way 3 completely disregards the ending of 2 just for the drama felt wayy too forced. Plus, the further you go, the more the human element gets forgotten, which was so awesome in 1

@Tweet_Desolace @Potatopolitics @MyslecGlebiej I'd count it as a win – book 2 isn't bad per se, and the ending is kind of interesting, but 3 is the only book I'd wish to unread. A lot of great ideas ruined by edgy "what if everything went wrong" plot. And genocides. Lots and lots of those.
