@levelsio It’s cheaper to rent a VPS and run a VPN through it in most cases.. I’ve found it to have more predictable bandwidth speeds too

Just over two weeks in with my VPS from @macarnecom and it’s been great, zero issues at all. The network peering and bandwidth speeds across the globe feel unmatched, paired with the EPYC 9354p it’s been a great combination.

@anurag_bhatia This article from 2023 suggests UDP segmentation offload and checksum optimisations. They do mention their intention to upstream the changes so I’d be surprised if they weren’t pulled in by now?
