@vygna32@Agilites_@FrosTvsYou Btw his ONE trophy came in the tournament where FNC's best player got covid AND Europe's best team couldn't attend. And somehow that puts him above Valyn yeah okay
@vygna32@Agilites_@FrosTvsYou This is why I'm saying you have to approach it with nuance. Just because FNS has an international trophy doesn't mean he automatically goes above Valyn, when in every other metric Valyn outperforms him. Valyn beat FNS in 2022, 2024 and 2025 not just in his retirement era btw
@vygna32@Agilites_@FrosTvsYou You can't seriously think that 2022 Masters is worth more than 2 straight years of Americas dominance from Valyn? Not to mention Bangkok grand final and Toronto top 4
@vygna32@Agilites_@FrosTvsYou This mentality is so bad though. So does that mean Shahzam, Redgar and Starxo are better IGLs than Valyn and Mako? This is why you need nuance when looking at a player's career instead of just staring at international wins and disregarding everything else.
@vygna32@Agilites_@FrosTvsYou FNS has never won a regional trophy, not even prefranchising. And it's not even like Valyn doesn't have podium finishes. So how do you rationalise that?
@vygna32@Agilites_@FrosTvsYou I can't understand why you devalue domestic trophies this hard. Valyn has won Americas 4 times and has a perfect record against both FNS and Munchkin, but because he hasn't won an international he's not on their level?
@vygna32@Agilites_@FrosTvsYou International wins aren't the end all be all. Also it's absolutely insane that you put Ange1 and Saadhak as top callers when Nats and Valyn have outcalled them time and time again in recent years. There's more nuance to what determines a top IGL than just their int trophies
@vygna32@Agilites_@FrosTvsYou Valyn won Americas 4 times, Mako won 2025 Kickoff as IGL and came top 3 at Champions 2025, Nats won EMEA Stage 2. These are all major accomplishments bruh
