@laurai_ As an American who now lives in the UK, I will say I can understand thinking Americans are friendlier but do not move there. You don't understand how poor the quality of life is for the average person in the us.
@FairyAngelbel AC helps you cool down so your body can recover from the heat, because the duration of heat that you endure makes the health impacts worse. That's how AC helps people all over the world. I know it sucks that it will be needed in places where it didn't used to be
@chiffonlime@onelastunicorn I agree with you completely. He was fantastic, love him, but Barbie is what I remember. The moments on the bench and at the end with the Billie Eilish song stick with me the most
@VELV3TG0LDMINE I went to a college like that at the same time as him and i think the closeted stuff was EXTREMELY accurate! Things have changed a lot in the past decade.
@dengrnde I think their thought process is that they believe celebrities are thin because they are rewarded for it, so if they instead punish them for being thin it will make a difference. It's a fundamental ignorance about how EDs work and it's dehumanization of real people
@JoonesNorma I'm an American living in the UK and I will admit that before I lived here I didn't understand the heat complaints, since that exact weather happens in the us everyday. BUT now I get it because I didn't realize how much Americans control their indoor climate
@pitoumoder@EPM106 Lol this is an account I made so that I could curate my feed with Ariana grande content. Anyway, bots are actually more sophisticated these days than what you are describing. And for the record I am anti Zionist so not defending Helen mirren on that to be clear
@Sovann_Jahlee@leonielaugh No she is very serious about her Christianity. She has written about it. (Not a bad thing, I'm not Christian but I respect it)
@kingbealestreet Did you watch it alone? The vibe is different in a big group or at a screening at the cinema. I could imagine some of the humor not landing if you're watching at home alone though.
