@ODUmonarchists do we think that ODU will have a spring football game open to the public?
If this is readily available information already, I may have just missed it.
@ShotsGottaFall There are some parallels between what’s happening at Penn State and the first few years of the Tom Crean era at Indiana. It initially sounds like a weird comparison, but you can investigate it if you care to.
@SportsNTheatre He’s going to make three point shots, I think. It’s the last thing to develop in the games of almost all young players. His game is mature beyond his years in all other facets. Especially his perimeter defense and his overall poise with the basketball in his hands.
@SportsNTheatre I don’t think that matters as much as it did even a handful of years ago.
I could be way overestimating his stock! I hope that he’s at Penn State next season playing alongside his brother on a team that is in the upper half of the Big Ten.
NBA/UNC could factor into it.
@SportsNTheatre I don’t think enough people realize the possibility that Kayden Mingo could be a first round NBA draft pick in 2026 though.
Missing time probably makes that less likely, but it’s certainly a possibility. That would be extremely difficult for PS fans to comprehend if it happens.
@SportsNTheatre It’s the classic injured player theory. A key player goes down with an injury and the rest of the guys find a way to rally in the immediate short term. Ultimately the rally often proves to be short lived. That regression probably comes as soon as Saturday.
