Due to planned Arriva London North bus driver strikes, some bus routes in north, east and central London will be disrupted on several dates between September and October.
During these strikes, other local bus, Tube and rail services in these parts of London may be busier than usual.
We're sorry for any disruption to people's journeys

@Lozzarooroo We hear you, and that's an important consideration. The trial will help us understand how customers experience and use the space in practice, including what works well and what could be improved.
We’re trialling a calm space at Ealing Broadway station for four weeks 💙
From today, you’ll find a quieter space for customers who may benefit from a calmer environment during their journey.
What we learn from the trial will help us understand how we can make our network more accessible and inclusive.

We understand the concern. The pod is located close to station staff and within CCTV coverage, and it’s included in routine station security and safety checks. Any inappropriate behaviour will be managed in line with standard station procedures, and any damage will be addressed as needed. The trial will also help us understand how the space is used in practice.
We understand that ordinary seating can be useful too. The aim of the pod is to provide something a little different in a dedicated, low-stimulation space where customers can pause and take a moment away from some of the noise and activity of the station. It’s also designed with easy-to-clean surfaces and is included in the station’s daily cleaning routine. 💙
We hear you! The pod is designed to be a compact sensory support space that fits within the existing station infrastructure, while still offering a calm, comfortable place to take a moment. 💙 The trial will help us understand how customers use the space and what works well for them.
@ollyloosemore 2/2 That being said, could you please provide as much detail as you can here: https://t.co/eje2V9PBo0 which will allow us to carry out an investigation and ensure appropriate action is taken.
@ollyloosemore Hi there, I'm sorry to hear about this. Bus delays may occur due to unexpected circumstances that cause disruptions on the route. However, I totally understand your frustration, and apologies for the inconvenience caused. 1/2
@flowergirl_lon Hi Sam,
Thank you for reaching out to us. Are you currently at the station trying to change lines, or are you asking if it is possible?
Thanks,

@Kumru6355 Hi,

Hi Jakub, the closure between Edgware Road and Wimbledon means the Wimbledon branch won't be operating, so District line services from Earl's Court to Putney Bridge will be affected too. Customers travelling should allow extra time and check alternatives before they travel.

It’s Catch the Bus Month 🚌

Hello. When you tap your contactless card or device (or use it after a period of inactivity), the transit system places a small, temporary pending charge (often 10p or £1) to check that the account has funds and the card is valid.This 10p transaction is not a real charge and drops off or gets refunded automatically within a few hours to a couple of days once your actual daily travel fare is calculated. Thanks, <PC
