It’s very funny to me that CW can put out one of the worst seasons of its flash TV show the same year as the movie & people still think of Grant Gustin as the superior flash.

@MenSteel6 @bolt_zoom And with the Internet, word of mouth happens on a global scale. Sadly, DC's films have a reputation for being bad, or at least inconsistent, and people aren't gonna waste money in that case. Any movies that do well just prove the inconsistency. Word of mouth is paramount.

What they care about is that the film is entertaining/good. If people don't like it, word of mouth will spread (1)

@MenSteel6 @bolt_zoom False. I'm not a Snyderverse fan, I've watched every single DCEU film in cinemas, and I know others that have done the same. Granted, the only reason I watched Birds of Prey was because tickets for Parasite were sold out at my local cinema, but still, I watched it.
