but it made me search for the word napalm. and I learned about the Napalm bombs by the USA during the Vietnam War.

and guess what, they're still bombing some countries to this date. 🤮

I don't know, maybe "napalm" just a slang now and meanings may shift over time but using "napalm" in a context that seems to normalize it can be deeply upsetting and insensitive. War is over, we may move forward but that doesn't mean we can forget it.

The word “napalm” refers to a horrific weapon of war, used in World War II, Korean, Vietnam and more. The so-called "napalm era" was a dark and deadly time for countries being invaded and bombed, countless innocent lives were lost or devastated.
