@ZubyMusic I would argue that it was the most damaging. To assume this 'man' has control over this platform is rather naive, given that it is one of the most powerful psychological weapons ever created on the internet. π€·.
In general, robotics and AI are such pervasive technologies, that tap deep in to our primal conditioning.
They 'feel' human. So we feel they are of more value than traditional technology.
When your washing machine sings when it finishes, do you really think it is happy ? Do you start to judge if it is right to enslave a machine capable of joy? No.
But have an application sing your praises when you ask it a question, we, as humans, feel it understands and conclude it is concious. Put that ability in a human form and suddenly we find ourselves confused by the morality of it all.
I say that plants are more conscious than AI. As they are alive. They can communicate and move. They feel and react, shape themselves to respect other trees. But nobody has more qualms to chop them down and turn them in to IKEA furniture.
AI are automaton illusions, playing chess to the wonder of the crowd.
