To be honest, this is probably the last time in his career when he has an actual chance of cashing in. Happy for him, hopefully the transfer goes through and he succeeds at PSG
🚨☎️ BREAKING: Barcelona and PSG in negotiations for Ferran Torres, who has decided to go to Paris! 4-year deal, with contract terms agreed. @MatteMoretto#Transfers 🔴🔵💥
Still cannot believe that something significant would materialise on Monday… if it does, great! If not, that’s already accepted.. Honestly, I haven’t seen Mikautadze play that much, would seem like a short-term solution, although at this point even that would be welcome.
Also, nice to see and cpnnect with another culer from the Nordics!
@NeuralAA@NealGardner_ Well, that means we’ll drop him in the deep end and hope he manages to learn to swim on his own… especially now that we don’t have Lewa as a mentor any more..
@kevvwill My only issue with Araujo was the accountability after his mistakes… although, media might have played a big part in influencing my own frustration, but still…
Worst case scenario, he’ll get to pour out all of his frustration by being physical and kicking rivals in the PL and returning with a lot more experience on how to handle different type of situations in the future. Would be extremely valuable in the CL should he return back to Barca..
@The1899FCB Raphinha’s return, for sure. Really curious to see how he links up with Adeyemi if they get minutes together tonight. Could be a very interesting dynamic to watch.
@NealGardner_ Araujo and Ter Stegen out on loans, Rodri in with Gordon and Adeyemi… the shift in the dressing room atmosphere might be monumental, even though my understanding was that Araujo was highly liked in the dressing room.. Still, a fresh breeze for the club!
Cannot wait for the season opener speech from Rapha now!
For once, I do believe that it will be genuine and resembles the mentality inside the dressing room!
@nogojiggy Agreed, the worst case scenario for us is that he gets to take his frustration out on PL rivals, kick a few kids there and comes back with a lot more understanding and lessons learned… But we do hope the buy clause will be activated ofc.
@NealGardner_ So at least one third hits just the spots I have been craving for and seals the deal for me. Anything more and it’s just like entering a candy shop as a little kid. Thanks Neal! Cannot wait for the season to start!
@NealGardner_ Thanks for replying and good luck on your new endeavour! Certainly seems like a strong squad to get things rolling fast!
Any hints regarding first pieces?
Had the exact same thought and this pretty much confirms where the leaks have been coming from troughout the years…
Last year’s silence felt super nice and exciting, now it feels like we have arrived to the promised land… Nothing starts your weekend better than opening up X on Saturday morning and seeing a bombazo regarding Barcelona. Guess we have deserved this!
@BouafifNour I guess the next point of business should really be bringing Cancelo back to Camp Nou asap. Since this is now done, what are the odds of seeing Kounde play as a CB this season or is it more likely for us to sign Cuti or someone else at this point?
Super loan deal and nice to see his next club plays with his favorite colour in their home kit. Much better place to keep recording those 75 minute red cards in big games..
🚨🚨💣 EXCLUSIVE: Liverpool agree loan deal to sign Ronald Araujo from Barcelona, HERE WE GO! 🇺🇾
Verbal agreement club to club with Barça now approved by director Deco.
New centre back for #LFC with a surprise bomba.
How many times have us Barca fans given him the benefit of a doubt and delusional hope for the next season being the comeback? Super happy that Deco managed to sort this out and would be even happier if he’d manage to get back to his best at Liverpool. I don’t hate the player, just a difference in opinions on how one should take accountability and leadership when they have been pulling the rug under the whole club one or two many times in the past..
Here’s one happy fan, but I don’t get why after not playing almost at all under a manager, a player would think that it changes over the summer and he would somehow start getting regular minutes.. why does it take a good and long meeting with the coach for them to realize that it would be wise to start looking elsewhere?
If you love the game and want to play, players should drop the delusional act and start acting rational. A loan move still gives you one last chance to prove the manager and your club otherwise..
