@MarketScientist Elemental sulphur prices have skyrocketed. Can sulphuric acid producers pass on the price increase at the same pace? No.
So, how does this benefit sulphuric acid producers? Would the benefit only emerge once the Strait of Hormuz situation normalises and sulphur prices correct?
@SarveshPat2lym@jitenkparmar For cyclicals, I think sir looks at 3 year forward PEG. Along with PB and replacement cost which can be calculated using the cost that any company would require to put up the same capacity today and fair value of the land with the company and any other financial assets.
@Dhirend82167101@jeevanpatwa For eg, you should not look at PE for highly cyclical stocks because during a bad cycle (earnings are depressed) the PE will appear very high and during up cycle (earnings increase significantly) the PE will look very low. So in this case, PE is misleading.
