For many women journalists , weathering online attacks has become an ugly reality of the job. It shouldn’t be the pervasive issue that it is today. The right support from the right people can help shift the tides of the violence, writes @t_mulc.

This @RealitySteve fiasco is bringing together my two loves: Bachelor Nation and journalism.
And btw it really exemplifies how much he is *not* a journalist and also why anonymous sources should almost never be used!
It's day 1 here without our truly talented ~former~ managing editor @t_mulc 😢
Give her a follow if you don't already. She'll be getting up to only cool things in the future, we're sure of it.

🗣 Some personal news!
Today is my last day at @IJNet. It has been a gift to spend the last few years learning abt journalism while building the site into something I am so proud of. I often hear from readers impacted by our work, which make the hard days worth it.
To my @ICFJ & @IJNet family, thanks for letting me grow up with you! I’ve found some of my best friends — oh and a fiancé — and that’s a testament to the many, many incredible people that work there!
