【号砲】ビットコイン準備金じゃなくてデジタル資産準備金

先ほど、トランプ大統領が「仮想通貨を推進する」大統領令に署名しました。

「ビットコイン準備金」がトレンドになってますが、BTCは下落し、むしろETHがちょっと買われましたね。

これは大統領令を読めばわかります。
以下は原本の翻訳。

まずここで、全体的な方針が示されています。
���要なことに、ここでは準備金については触れられていません。（つまり、重要事項ではない)

ここで示されているのは、
・検閲なしに自己管理する権利を認める。
・ドルステーブルコインを発展させる。
・CDBCを禁止する。
・仮想通貨企業にも銀行口座を開かせろ

ですね。

要するに、ブロックチェーン技術全体を推進する内容であって、特にドルステーブルコインを推進したい意志が強く感じられる内容です。

じゃあ準備金はやらないのか？
というと・・

ワーキンググループを作って「国家デジタル資産備蓄」をこれから検討するよ。犯罪者から押収した暗号資産を備蓄するための基準を作るよ。というもの。

なのでまず「ビットコイン」という文字はこの大統領令では一回も出てきていないです。
あくまで「ステーブルコインを含むデジタル資産」という表現が使われてます。

また、「犯罪者から押収した暗号資産を備蓄するもの」
という範囲に収まる可能性も高く感じられる文章ですね。

これは前にも言いましたが、予想通りです。

もし暗号資産を備蓄するために新しい予算をつけるとなると、インフレリスクを増大させてしまう恐れもあるため、現時点ではできない可能性が高いからです。

恐らく犯罪者から押収したビットコインがそのままキープされるか、部分的にキープされるかのどちらかになるのではないでしょうか。

ということで、これらは以下の通り、イーサリアムに有利な内容と考えられます。

✅ステーブルコイン
ステーブルコインも現在は圧倒的にイーサリアムのシェアが高いです。
CDBCというライバルがいなくなった今、ステーブルコインビジネスはイーサリアムの独壇場になる可能性が高いです。

✅訴訟の取り下げ
現在、MetaMaskやUniswapといったウォレットやDEXがSECによって訴訟されていますが、これらは取り下げられる可能性がやはり高いですね。
「自己管理の権利を保証する」という大統領令に矛盾しますし、また���インベースウォレットはすでにSEC負けてるので勝ち目はほぼない訴訟なので。

✅国家デジタル資産備蓄にETHが含まれる
この可能性もあるのではないでしょうか？犯罪者から押収されたBTCをETHやステーブルコインに分散させる、というのは合理的な戦略に思えます。
これからのワーキンググループの働き次第ですが。
前にも言いましたが、現在、SECによって非証券だと認められてるのはBTCとETHだけです。
それはすぐに変わりません。
