@rigow @sayho @eRecht24 @thsch @datenschutzguru By the way this seems not well understood by most people from a marketing perspective IP logging is pointless anyway, it’s more of a requirement by law to anonymize IPs. There’s little value in IPs to understand a cross device customer journey.

So I got an AP unit from IIHS crash car to see the "inside the AP" crash test and all I see is darkness, huh?

So I closely examined crashtest videos and what do I see in every one of them?
Blocked sensors!
EuroNCAP, IIHS, you name it, they all have it apparently on impact side

arguably in real world every time such a system works as designed - the crash outcome/probability of injury is decreased (or not? how do we know without official tests?)

Yet this appears to be totally ignored by the test protocols?

You may wonder how do I know about it?

The crash test protocols apparently are designed to only test mechanical strength of the car body. This is of course important, but it fails to take into account intelligent active safety measures like say active suspension:
