@wtflanksteak Ik this doesn’t apply to me bc I don’t do this 😂 but there was a year where from Jul-Oct I read 39 books and realistically the only way you can do that is by using every waking moment outside of work to read and staying up to extremely irresponsible times of night. Not healthy!

@eriatarrka @uncledoomer Fortunately my baby is not in daycare- I’m a blessed and very lucky minority of women who have a village of family to rely on. Do I think this system is ideal? Not in the least. Do people need to work to survive and not live in debt forever? If they ever want to own a home? Yes.

@eriatarrka @uncledoomer Trust and believe I think parents SHOULD get far more paid leave to be with their babies. I didn’t go back to work until mine was 5mos. But I don’t think parents should be bashed for doing what they need and that retweet seemed a little ignorant and harsh imo.
