@DrKnowItAll16 Thanks, That's the spirit!
In the end the platform should fade behind the usage. The only way to do so is by bringing in the hardware and software that enables actual interaction.
It's even cuter in person !
@BartronPolygon@NimaZeighami It originates from a g1, bar the compute, the camera, the mic, the head dofs, the low latency hardware etc... The hardware gap needed to get to seamless interaction is huge.
Lumi's out, it's the flagship model of @lightberry. We wove math, design, algo and art into this robot to create the most interactive robot ever. Enjoy !
Robotics is one of the field where math-adjacent workers can also touch grass and use their hands.
Algos and models are cool and stuff but using power tools to bring them irl is also exhilarating.
We're sending robots to the Himalayas
73 years ago, Hillary and Norgay became the first climbers to conquer the Himalayas. This October, a humanoid robot will attempt to reach the summit again.
Spots are extremely limited. Applications are open now: https://t.co/2KDDtWoXXL
@chris_j_paxton It reminds me of some neuromorphic takes for deep learning. The human biology seems really appealing to copy, but sometimes needs a gargantuan amount of work, or fails completely at scale/in prod.
