Backup C option for the Lakers with upside that I would be looking at: Moussa Cissé
Stands 6'11 w/9'4 standing reach.
He was one of three players to average 1+ steals & 4+ blocks per 100 possessions last season. The other two were Wemby & Rob Will
Per @The_BBall_Index Cissé posted an A+ (97th%) D-Lebron rating last season.
Cissé is a monster on the glass, he ranked 4th in offensive rebounding per 36 minutes last season
1. Mitchell Robinson - 7.7
2. Steven Adams - 7.1
3. Clint Capela - 6.2
4. Moussa Cisse - 6.1
5. Donovan Clingan - 6.0
Cisse has performed well in a smaller sample size thus far, and has all the tools to be an impactful C in the NBA.
Currently a two-way RFA with Dallas - maybe a roster crunch over there allows him to slip free.
Luka Doncic is "excited" about the Lakers' free agency moves, reports @DanWoikeSports
"His biggest desires for the roster were addressed: keeping Austin Reaves and getting an elite rim-protecting center in Walker Kessler."
I was NOT kidding about the Mamu grab-and-go thing, by the way.
The Raptors generated over 1.2 PPP (!) on trips where Sandro Mamukelashvili 1) grabbed a defensive rebound and 2) brought the ball up.
Could attack himself, hit lane-fillers, receive drag screens or flow into DHOs.
