In honour of #RemembranceDay we designed and filled in an almost life size soldier, filled with poppies.
Nearly 4hrs and almost a breakdown, this is the end result.
Safe to say, I am proud of KS1 today. They did well.

There is genuinely nothing more heartwarming than having to go into school for a bit, children out doing PE and being spotted, to then get your name yelled 😭 love ittt! 😭😭

Best part of my job. Telling a parent their child is compassionate. Telling them they find work hard but never give up. Telling them their child is creative & inspires me. Telling them their child is honest & humble. Telling them to that their child makes mistakes but rectifies.

Today i helped a girl read a book with extra fluency as she was skipping lines and misreading words, purely by adding a ruler. It helped her stay focused and she knew exactly where she was at all times. She did very well by the end of it.

Today, I spent at least 13 minutes arguing with a child about how many stickers she was getting.
She wanted 4.
I said she was getting 1.
She was adament about 4.
She got 1.

You know you're succeeding as a learning TA, when a little girl writes you as her best friend on her list and then turns her back to surprise you with her progress for her writing.
She's in reception. I am so proud of her.

Today whilst doing phase 3 phonics with some pupils, a little boy comes up to me, grabs my hand, and puts a ring on my finger. And then walks away. I was very confused to say the least. 😂
