JUST IN: A $1 stablecoin CRASHED to nearly zero after a nearly $1 MILLION exploit.
Balance Coin, meant to hold $1 value using Bitcoin-backed collateral, crashed more than 99% to around $0.0014.
SlowMist said the attacker fed the protocolโs oracle an extremely low BTC price, triggering liquidations of vaults.
The attacker then seized the collateral and converted it into about $912,000 in profit.
BLC now trades at $0.00075, valuing the entire 3.51M circulating supply at just $2,570.

Excited to see how the community deploys the growing warchest over the next few years!

Developing blockchain infra isn't about winning a hackathon or shipping the "perfect" product.
It's about showing up. Talking to the people using your stuff. Iterating based on real feedback. Failing fast and building again. We ship because the community matters more than the deadline.
Our timeline is full of talk about 8M XRPL accounts, Flare's TVL, institutional interest, tokenization. But adoption without infrastructure is just people holding bags.
Real work is mostly unglamorous. Late nights securing networks and building data feeds. Weekend mornings solving cross-chain execution reliable.
No headlines. Just builders solving problems so others can build on top. That's where we are and we wouldn't have it any other way.
