Tabularis v0.24.0 is out 🧵
Headline feature: query plans inside the notebook. SQL cells get a Query Plan toggle, and a resizable Visual EXPLAIN section appears next to Query, Results and Chart. Saved with the cell, survives export/import.
A proxy for the traffic you choose.
Settings → Network: HTTP CONNECT or SOCKS5, then pick what goes through it:
• App requests
• Database connections
• AI / LLM endpoints
• SSH tunnels
Off by default, each scope opt-in. Passwords stay in the OS keychain.
Two bugs that ate keystrokes in the editor are fixed. Dump files round-trip JSON, connections.json keeps unknown fields, configurable Postgres pool size, shortcuts ignore IME.

Tabularis v0.23.0 is out, and SQL Server is in.
The SQL Server plugin 1.0.0-beta.1 is in the registry for macOS, Linux and Windows: schema browsing, queries, row editing, DDL, routines, triggers, TLS, and Visual EXPLAIN with its own SHOWPLAN parser.
The built-in PostgreSQL driver is deprecated. A migration flow moves your connections to the PostgreSQL plugin, one by one or in bulk, tests them, and always offers Undo. Nothing moves unless you click.
Underneath, Visual EXPLAIN gained a parser registry plugins fill at runtime.
