Returned to twitter after a few months and low and behold my home page is full of rightwing propaganda that I definitely didn't ask for.
So much for the 'town hall' effect. Musk....what a complete and utter scumbag
I’ve been involved in a heated debate about the West, Ukraine, and Russia.
I’ve been attacked, insulted, and called every imaginable name. That’s fine. I’ll survive.
What strikes me, though, is this: for every admirer or apologist of Russia, everything that has happened is always somebody else’s fault—never Russia’s.
Yet you would struggle to name a single neighbour genuinely happy to live next to Russia. Even many Belarusians privately resent its dominance.
So here’s a genuine question for Russian apologists:
Can you name a single thing Russia has done wrong in its relations with its neighbours?
Just one.
Because if your answer is “nothing,” then you’re no longer engaging in analysis. You’re engaged in worship.
And if so, for me you are all mental!
The Reflecting Pool is a perfect metaphor for the Trump administration:
- Ignore experts and science
- Overspend
- Declare early, historic victory
- "THE LEFT HATE THIS"
- Ends in total failure
- Unfounded conspiracies about sabotage
- MAGA pretends it doesn't actually matter
