This thread raises many, but not all, of the issues we are hearing about from candidates. We will be raising concerns for immediate and longer term action from the @GPhc ( and PSNI, as issues in NI too). Important too that @BTLGroup's liability made clear.
Overall, this whole thing was a farce from the point of booking to actually sitting the exam. Time and time again, the GPhC fail to demonstrate the standards imposed on healthcare professionals they supposedly regulate. It’s time the regulator is independently regulated. (15/15)
Clinical ability and decision-making or how fast we can click a mouse? 🙃 The questions were not representative of the framework either. They did not appear to reflect the high-low weighting and they were most definitely not representative of the sample questions given.. (12/15)
Click back due to the lack of speed of the assessment programme. The flagging system was redundant. Apparently, there was a filter system for flagged Qs, but this was stupidly not mentioned in the instructions, so the majority were unaware. Are we being assessed on our... (11/15)
Could only get more paper if they handed in their current ones in- 2 papers at a time and they didn’t get at least 1hr break as advised. @BTLGroup how do you hire your staff? How do you even train them? Some didn’t even know what items were permitted. Shambolic.. (9/15)
In the interest of fairness, candidates who were delayed should be marked separately from the rest and thus, separate grade boundaries, to prevent grades that would most definitely be skewed and unrepresentative of the cohort.. (7/15)
