@VivekGRamaswamy So how will cities and states raise funds for basic things the government provides like infrastructure? Property taxes are a progressive tax so if property taxes are eliminated, people would likely be taxed on an individual basis and poor people would be affected the most.

@WallStreetApes If you are on month to month lease, then they are choosing to not renew you. You aren't being evicted. They can replace you with a tenant willing to sign at the new terms. Maybe if they can't rent at the new rates, then they will be forced to lower rent to maintain occupancy
