@Ecstasy5927@filmlovinglucy John Lassiter worked alongside Brad Bird on ray gunn, I’d highly recommend looking into the allegations that were alleged against during his days at Pixar
Alex Pearlman tells Philip DeFranco a story about a British music group that came to America in 1964:
They were very against segregation and stated repeatedly they would not play at any venue that was segregated.
That band's name was The Beatles. F^*k off Ed Sheeran.
Ethan Klein decides to weigh in on the current Ed Sheeran controversy by taking the brave stance that we should attack people for portraying offensive caricatures a decade ago even if they’ve apologized for it
Woke 1 was an abject failure given where the culture war is now, and the entire point of Woke 2 is to keep the progressivism and equality issues people care about without the performative nonsense, aggressive bile, purity spirals and corporate virtue signalling of Woke 1.
People still ask about the "fake gauntlet plot hole" from the first Thor movie, but it connects the MCU's oldest lore together.
In Thor: Ragnarok (2017), Hela revealed that she and Odin conquered the cosmos through brutal slaughter before he suddenly went soft. The math makes total sense: Odin was hunting the Infinity Stones to cement his empire, already locking down the Space Stone and tracking the rest.
The moment he learned the Soul Stone required sacrificing a loved one on Vormir, he couldn't pull the trigger. He locked Hela away, built a prop gauntlet in his vault as political propaganda, and pivoted to peace. Thanos literally just ran the exact same playbook, except he was actually cold enough to throw his daughter off the cliff. 💀

The accusation that I am antisemitic is appalling and fundamentally dishonest. Criticizing the actions of the Israeli prime minister, a military technology contract, or the executives who supply it is not the same as criticizing Jewish people. This critical and necessary dialogue is then dishonestly framed as being anti-Israel. To be clear, my views come from my own political convictions and should never be interpreted as hostility toward Jewish people, for whom I have deep love and respect. Everything I know about acting, activism, and humanism has been profoundly shaped by the Jewish friends, colleagues, and loved ones who have been integral and family throughout every point of my life.
This merger has real consequences for real people, and for the entire country. Scrutinizing the Ellisons, including Oracle’s business built on data, surveillance technology and government contracts, and the serious threat to editorial freedom and the loss of a livelihood for thousands of families, is fair and necessary. The $111 billion deal would hand one family control over CNN, HBO and Warner Bros., backed in part by foreign money whose influence on editorial decisions has never been fully explained to the public.
Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have called for serious national security review, and regulators still haven’t given the public a real answer. Until they do, the merger shouldn’t move forward. Now is the time to dive boldly into all these issues, not step back or concede.
UPDATE—Women who leaked video of abuses in ICE detention were immediately locked in solitary confinement as retaliation.
"They're threatening us... They're hitting us," women said.
"We fear for her safety... They're killing us, but we have our voice."
"Please help us!"
