@ShortFormErnie oof, yeah, it’s unfortunate, especially for the victims. We’ve had 100s of people contact us to cancel their scam accounts and we can’t help them beyond saying “wrong company” :(
Many orgs take breaks from regular meetings in summer. It’s a good opportunity to reflect on:
What works well?
What’s tricky?
What would you do differently?
Think about the who, what, when, how and why’s of your meetings. Small changes can make a difference in #productivity!
I wrote some words about words: :)
This post is about how words can change how you see yourself, others, and how you live your life
Learn about some of these words, why they are powerful to me, & perhaps think a little bit about the power of your words.

This is a good article on @FastCompany on setting boundaries when you #WFH.
We try to practise all of these things, though some days are more successful than others 😉.

Things have been stressful for… quite a while. Read my post on how having language to describe your stress level is a powerful way to notice it, clarify it in your mind, communicate about it with others, and manage it in healthy ways.

An oldie but a goodie, #TBT to a post I wrote a few years back on whether people born #entrepreneurs, or if can they be made. As someone who would have never thought #entrepreneurship would be a path for me, I believe they can be made. Read on: https://t.co/JtES0cSeyg
Writing publicly is deliberate practice for the mind.
- immediate feedback
- audience acts as a coach
- potential for criticism forces you to pay attention to the details
These forces naturally encourage you to improve. All you need is the courage to keep showing up.
This is a great article by @pothix on matching your schedule to your energy cycles. Lots of good examples. This is vital to how I plan my days/weeks.
Highly recommend a read:

This is important to think about when asking for & committing to meetings. There is an opportunity cost that we often forget.
Just b/c a meeting is in your calendar doesn’t mean you have to have it. Also, just b/c someone asks you to meet, doesn’t mean you have to do it.
“There is nothing so useless as doing efficiently that which should not be done at all.” - Peter Drucker (via @jasonfried & @dhh & their awesome book It Doesn’t Have to be Crazy at Work)

One of the things we like to do when scheduling our meetings is only book them on certain days & group them. Tues/Weds/Thurs afternoons are our preference. Works well for keeping our mornings uninterrupted & protects other days for different kinds of work.

Have you ever considered WHEN you schedule your #meetings during the day in relation to your energy levels?
At Tadum, morning meetings are a big no-no. We try to have meetings in the afternoon since our highest energy/most focussed time is in the mornings.

@rainforestYEG Exactly! For us, meetings are often a great way to shift gears during the afternoon slump when we are using a different kind of mental energy. Keeps the day rolling!
Just because you have #recurringmeetings in your calendar, doesn’t mean you have to meet!
A benefit of preparing an #agenda ahead of a meeting is being able to recognize when a meeting isn’t necessary. If there is nothing to discuss/no decisions, skip it. Send an email instead.
