Made an AR gaussian splat renderer for iOS with Metal. It's slow for larger scenes. Buggy code is here if you want to test it out: https://t.co/V1lqZ8pVnx
( shoe model from @alexcarliera )
Used NeRF to make a "Bullet Time" effect for a friend's wedding.
We set up 15 iPhones to capture slow-motion video, then used @NVIDIAAIDev Instant-NGP to train a bunch of NeRFs on the frames.
..need to work on improving the quality / resolution a bit more.
We added a new "object masking" mode to 3d Scanner App that automatically extracts objects using machine learning.
Also a few other new things: measuring & bounding boxes, AR placer, auto texture mode ( in settings )
still free: https://t.co/spNuVaDVrk
( requires iPad Pro )
LIDAR quality has improved a lot in iOS 14 on iPad Pro
We added a (beta) high res mode to our free https://t.co/5S9hJMlZm7
Share textured models in AR via iMessage + USDZ, GLTF, OBJ
Still a bit rough / buggy
Made a simple LIDAR 3d scanner for iPad Pro.
Couldn't find any apps that don't require cloud / signup / $ to get a mesh.
You can share textured models in AR via iMessage + USDZ, GLTF, OBJ
Quality isn't great, and it's slow.. but it's free.

Built a mixed reality capture app with ARKit to record a video of the Quest VR Piano trainer. This time with all the backing instruments the MIDI format has to offer. 🎹🎸
So many cool AR VR piano learning apps these days.

I've been hacking on one too.. here's me attempting some Chopin. I'm still awful, but to go from zero to here in 2 weeks is neat.
@ShaanHurley sorry to bug you about something so silly - any chance you have a 3D max file of Dancing baby -- wanted to use it for a ar project -- saw you made a post about it
