WSJ reports Texas' top law enforcement official and now Senate candidate Ken Paxton spent a New Year's Eve in Dubai partying with two fugitives who had been indicted on charges of massive health care fraud schemes. One of them was a major Paxton donor.
@mc_reason1@CurrentRevolt@RheinAmacher Yes, the clips from the X Space capture Amacher saying outlets like Sara Gonzales/The Blaze and Daily Mail declined over legal concerns, so he went to an influencer citing lower standards. The hospital later stated Talarico never received treatment there.
Lmaoooo Rhein never considered that speaking to journalists might result in them actually recording conversations.
And now just proved how flippantly he’ll lie.
Notice that while all these habitual liars are busy moving the goalposts none of them have even the tiniest shred of decency to just say they were wrong and apologize. Because that is the Roy Cohn MAGA creed - part of being the shittiest humans in America.
@LindnerCtrHope Well, there it is. Elon is the largest purveyor of misinformation in modern American history, and @nicksortor should hire a lawyer ASAP.
this shit is hilarious
> says “the hospital can confirm there are no records” of talarico
> hides the replies showing that the hospital has no records
> blocks
Now that the hospital has put out a statement confirming this is false…
It’s a good time to remind you:
The crime of committing fraud to try and access medical records doesn’t need those records to be real.
If there was fraud, like lying about being a relative, then the attempt to get non-existent records is still a crime.
Elon immediately suspended this account that showed Nick Sortor’s recorded call to the mental health facility was AI generated and is preventing community notes on the Sortor post.
It’s all hands on deck trying to make the fake Talarico story stick
