I've read it a dozen times, and it is such an amazing exemplar of clear communication, conflict resolution, and empathy.

That "on the other hand".... like how many people do you actually know who actually listen to, who actually consider both sides?

Taehyung is making his third comment under Kitae's posts, and while his earlier comments should have been enough to make his support of his trainee-period friend clear, that wasn't the case. There were continuing comments about Kitae being clout chaser, fame chaser, about him not knowing enough, of Taes comments being "sarcasm".

So Taehyung actually looked into these comments, understood their interference or concern, and stepped in. Again. To make things clear.... to those supporting Kitae, to those opposing Kitae, AND to Kitae himself.

He did not diminish or dismiss the "concern". He EXPLAINED it to Kitae, that the numerous posts (instead of one super-long post) may be misinterpreted.

He assured Kitae that many fans were "thankful" and "viewed it positively" (🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️). Because ofc he's noticed that too.

And the way he encouraged Kitae not to take it to heart, that was a LEADER, an elder brother, sharing such an important life lesson. That despite our best intentions, we will still sometimes be misunderstood.

Taehyung wrapped it up with his signature HONESTY and HUMOUR. Kitae and him had interacted in the early training period, before he joined his unit. Which is why he admitted to forgetting what Kitae's dream was (I guess Tae was the kind of friend to whom ALL the others told their dreams to).
But Taehyung's innate empathy sweetened that confession of forgetting with the humour of his final sentence that he hoped Kitae would be in a profession suited to his body-builder physique.

As someone who's been teaching communication for over 20 years now, Kim Taehyung, I bow to you. This was a masterclass. This could be taught in school to TEACH communication. Salute!

although there were many people who were thankful for the videos you filmed with care, and viewed it positively, on the other hand, there are also viewpoints of tos who were concerned. Anyway, I enjoyed them a lot.
As you live, sometimes even the things you do with good intentions are interpreted differently because everyone sees them from different perspectives. I hope you don't take every opinion to heart.
(But maybe uploading many several very short clips must have looked strange, made people misunderstand.)
no matter what, in our platoon, you were the ace, and I really enjoyed the time I spent serving with you.
Actually, unless someone actually lived alongside us, it might be difficult for them to fully understand what we experienced. You agree with this right?
I was worried you might be bench-pressing while you were unnecessarily stressed because of these reactions and so even if it's really bothersome, i'm leaving a comment.
