🐇: The scene where Pharan and Khem get married and adopt a child is actually in the original novel. Mandee's decision to include this scene wasn't just to respect the source material, but I believe the official passing of the Marriage Equality law in Thailand played a huge role in our decision to tell this part of the story.
From now on, things like this will gradually become a normal part of society. I don't expect it to change overnight, but society will slowly absorb, embrace, and accept same-sex couples more. I think Pharan and Khem serve as a milestone and an inspiration for the LGBTQ+ community. I truly believe that society’s understanding of this matter will continue to grow.
